As a Platform Engineer, you shape the future of Developer Experience. You design and build internal platforms that abstract complexity, increase productivity, and empower developer teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Conception and realization of Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) based on Kubernetes and understood as a product for internal development teams.
- Definition and implementation of 'Golden Paths' and self-service functionalities, preferably with Backstage.
- Building and maintaining GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux) for automating deployments and configuration management.
- Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform as a central product.
- Acting as an interface and advisor for development teams to understand their requirements and promote platform adoption.
Your Profile
- You possess sound, production-proven experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
- You have practical experience in designing and building IDPs or complex CI/CD systems.
- You are familiar with tools like Backstage, ArgoCD/Flux, and Helm.
- You understand the principles of excellent Developer Experience and can translate them into technical solutions.
- Your strong communication skills allow you to successfully mediate between infrastructure and application teams.
